Profile
During my many years of international activity, mostly in senior management positions, I was able to witness, even foresee, the fast-moving developments in technical after sales. Often, my position also enabled me to actively influence how these developments took shape.
As a professional engineer who has completed extracurricular courses and has practical experience in economics, marketing, sales, market communications and training of staff, I have always been actively committed to optimising business practices, increasing profitability, and securing the flexibility a company has to have today to remain successful. This almost always took place alongside my usual day-to-day business, and very often involved extensive, complex projects.

My career has often given me the opportunity to work closely with different external organisations and consulting companies of all sizes, as well as with individual specialists. This „network“ provides me with access to a wide range of resources on which I can draw as the need arises.    back

Completely reorganised a large service organisation in Switzerland (including workshop, spare parts supply and field engineers)
Set up a service organisation that included four regional main branches and seven sub-branches in China
Performed analysis and developed proposals for the re-structuring of aservice organisation in Turkey
Performed analysis and built up a service organisation in Chile
Trained service area supporters in Germany
Provided „on the job“ training for senior service staff with headquarters functions
Developed a manual on how to organise service branches and dealer organisations (Germany)
Re-structured a works service organisation (headquarters functions) in England
Developed an international service strategy and oversaw its realisation (Germany)
Led a project segment („long term tracking of product quality in the market“)
Developed and implemented new structures for a works service organisation, incl. IT and diagnostics tools (Germany)
Developed proposals for the optimisation of an already successful service organisation (2003)
